Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects - Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required - Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes - Utilize construction management software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create detailed cost breakdowns - Analyze project requirements and develop strategies to minimize costs while maintaining quality standards - Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information for estimating purposes - Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients, including detailed cost breakdowns and project timelines - Participate in negotiations with clients and subcontractors to secure favorable contract terms
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry - Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam - Strong knowledge of construction contracts, pricing, and project management principles - Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations - Ability to negotiate effectively with clients and subcontractors - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of cost control techniques and ability to identify areas for cost savings If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in construction estimating, we invite you to apply for the position of Estimator.
